TGCF Vaultworks for Gaza

A fandom initiative to raise money for the people of Palestine through sponsorship of existing works-in-progress (WIPs) by fanworks creators. One big difference between Vaultworks' format and Gotchas: By donating, you are essentially telling creators, “Hey, your WIP seems cool, I will pay to see you fulfill your vision."As a sponsor, your generosity will be crucial to aiding Palestine. In return, you will receive a dedication when the piece is done and gain access to exclusive bonus content. All event details are here: G Doc

How does it work?

For creators

Step 1
Sign up! Join our Discord server for ease of communication, support and updates.
Step 2
Consider past ideas or WIPs (2 max) and pitch them for sponsorship.
Step 3
We'll tag you when your pitch is fully funded! You'll have 1 month to complete your work and bonus content (1 per pitch), with a 2-week extension max.
Step 4
Keep us updated on progress. If you are working on one of the pitches, the second one will have an “On Hold” status.
Step 4.5
(For works that overshoot their initial estimates)

The pitch will be relisted for further sponsorship. Rules for partial sponsorships still apply.
Step 5
Link us to your completed works! Please submit bonus content separately and privately so we can email them to the sponsors.
Things to Note
- Your pitches do not need to be detailed and you do not need to share your WIPs directly. They should be short and sweet.
- Your pitch should include an expected word count/description of the style in which you intend to do your artwork and its complexity. This will determine the number of sponsorship slots available for said pitch.

for sponsors

Step 1
Creator pitches will be compiled into a spreadsheet. Look through the list to pick your favourite ideas and decide:
- Which pitches to sponsor
- How many sponsorship slots to claim (10 max)
(Minors are politely requested to sponsor SFW pitches only.)Step 2
Secure those slots with a corresponding donation of USD$5/slot (for SFW works) or USD$8/slot (for NSFW works), and submit proof in the submission form (ideally timestamped close to your form submission's time).
Bonus content will be emailed to sponsors for each pitch, so please make sure to provide an email address you check!Step 3
Wait for other donors to help you fund the pitch
OR
If you really love an idea, go for single sponsorship and claim every available slot to make sure it gets created!
Step 4
Each funded pitch will have its status and deadline clearly denoted on the pitch sheet, so you know when you may expect to see a completed work!
Step 4.5
(For works that overshoot their initial estimates)
The pitch will be relisted for further sponsorship*. If you missed out on a slot during Donation Week, now's your chance! Rules for partial sponsorships still apply.
Step 5
When the work is done, it will be posted and dedicated to the sponsors who helped bring the work to life, with you getting access to the bonus content.
Things to Note
- Since sponsorships are first come, first served, we have decided to allow 3 extra slots for single-sponsor pitches so that other people have a chance to access the bonus content.
- Sponsors will be asked to submit backups, in case someone else beat them to a slot.- The 10 slots limit includes full sponsorships. Sharing the love and support with more than one creator/pitch is highly encouraged.
